Boat Listing with Phones and Friends - Titusville Marina (#102)

Updated: Mar 16

We've come to the point of our Loop where we need to seriously consider listing our beautiful Sparkling Star. We had scheduled a 1 week reprieve at Titusville Marina because they had a fabulous rate of $300 for the week.

Another beautiful day on the water traveling to Titusville from Vero Beach.

We decided to use the time for:

1) Laura to take all the boat pictures to create the listing for the boat

2) Ted to get his AirPods fixed

3) Ted to get a new phone in Orlando

4) Ted to pick up oil and filters for the next oil change

5) Ted & Laura to go visit our great friends on Dream Looper in Melbourne.

Laura's step took forever for her to complete. On the day she planned to publish the page and reach out to interested parties, she felt nauseaous. We've known that selling the Sparkling Star was going to be difficult. After Ted and Laura started talking, they realized the best choice was to reach out to Prince William Marina sooner than later to list the boat even before we returned to Virginia. This decision helped Laura feel better, and we reached out to Jeff Miller to help us with the process.

Laura never can remember to look at the dot in the computer that is the lens!

We ended up eating at the Paradise Cafe on Fat Tuesday. We couldn't take pictures of all the costumes and decorations, but Laura got this quick one!

We ate at the Pier 220 restaurant that was walking distance from the marina. We marveled at the non-stop inflow of motorcycles, not realizing that Daytona's Bike week was happening 30 miles away.

With a car, we found this fabulous Indian Sizzler restaurant. We wished that we would have come back here more. Delicious!

The focus of our time in Titusville was the boat listing. We were glad to have taken the pictures and the steps to find the Sparkling Star's new owners.

Stay: 6 days (Good weather window so left a day early)

Pros: Price!, convenient location, walking distance from Enterprise, easy drive to Orlando

Cons: Docks are a bit old

Oh my, just saw that you were at Halifax marina, and here I thought you might still be in the West side of the state of Florida. We met up with you in Petoskey, MI after you commented on our post to the Searay 390 Facebook group and shared Sparkling Star's information. We are so very bummed that we missed you while you were in Daytona. Not by much as we were at Sola Gratia during Bike Week, but went on an 8 day Royal Caribbean cruise over our anniversary March 12th Now you are almost back to you starting point. Your adventure were many, and we enjoyed reading about some of your wonderful adventures. The best to yo…
