We took our last leg of the trip to Texas by train. We began the morning by a quick walk to the train station from our overnight in Chicago. As first class passengers with a cabin we were walked to our train first. The train left at 1:52pm for a 1:17am arrival in Texas. Our cabin had a chair and a couch that folded into a double bunk bed. We had a great trip to Chicago. We ended up sitting in two different areas so we could both have aisle seats. Laura had an interesting seat-mate and chatted most of the trip making the flight go even faster. Our hotel was next to a Bavarian restaurant so we decided to try it out. We embraced being in the US hearing English and being able to go to a pharmacy. Laura walked and found the easy route to the train station for the evening travel.
