Cliffs of Epes En-Route to Kingfisher (#77)

We had been looking forward to this spectacular day of travel along the Cliffs of Epes in Epes, Alabama.

We left at first light with a bit of fog on our way.

The gorgeous Cliffs of Epes are a spectacular sight to see.

We met up with Dream Looper and Therapy and had a wonderful time playing cards in the boaters lounge. We had wonderful meals at two unremarkable restaurants.

Plantation Gainswood

Therapy and Laura went to see Gainswood by bike. She also picked up a premade frozen meal from a local shop Mustard Seed.

Stay: 2 nights

Kingfisher Bay Marina, Demopolis, Alabama

Pros: Great facility, helpful staff, easy access to restaurants, loaner cars, great for biking to town

Cons: No bakeries in the nearby town
