Continental Divide and Friends in Nuremberg, Germany(#31)(C#13)

We had an overnight ride to Nuremberg through some very low bridges.

Half of the deck was closed for low bridges so everyone needed to stay forward.

When Laura went upstairs the dockhands told her to be prepared for low bridges. On this one everyone needed to duck!

We stayed above to see this Wall that symbolizes the peak of the lock system and marks the continental divide.

We took pictures on either side. The highest point was 1342 feet. At the next lock we strarted our descent.

We had a local guide give us a historical tour of Nuremburg Courtroom 600 and the fields where Hilter gave his rally speaches. Very solemn experience.

We ate lunch at Heilig-Geist-Spital in this lovely building with a view of the water.

We took a walk around Nuremberg walls and saw this view from above.

3-D view of Nurnburg with braile writing to assist the blind.

Beautiful skies to see Schoner Brunnen. (Beautiful Fountain)

Ted twisting the ring on the Schoner Brunnen for good luck.
