We were excited to make it to Hamburg after a longer than anticipated travel day. Our hotel was the lovely Fraser Suites. We had to give up a day here for our day in Schwerin.

We started our walking tour from the town hall. There were guided tours we wanted to go back and see.

Our guide Philip walked us through the meanings of symbolism on the building. He explained that the merchants raised the money to build this town hall. Above every window was a royal figure with a figure of a tradesperson in the peak over the window.

The medieval town of Hamburg was within these gray barriers.

We had a very fun small group on our tour.

The warehouse district is not behind floodgates and will flood seasonally. On the second story and above is the amazing Wunderland miniature that has the worlds largest miniature trains at 1/87 to 1/100 in size.

The display shows where the guests are from that visit the museum.

The first display was of the United States.

Pictures are not able to easily share the grandure and intricacy of the exhibits.

In addition to trains, there are boats, cars, and planes.

We had a wonderful Vegan dinner Green Table restaurant. Ted couldn't believe it was vegan.
