Medieval Rothenburg, Germany (#33) (C#15)

We had a great day in Rothenburg au Tauber. We left the cruise guided tour and enjoyed walking on our own.

Our firs stop was the top of the tower in the Town Hall. As we neared the top, Laura remembered how she didn't like it when she went with Grayce.

We had perfect weather.

We walkted into the Cathdral and were able to see the magnificient St. James Church.

The carvings of the last supper had light shining on Jesus and Judas when we were there. Pilgrims came from far to see the relic at the top cross (blood of christ).

We took many of the same pictures Laura had taken with Grayce in 2012.

On our way back we had a quick stop in Wurzberg. We wre able to find another Maypole.

Quick walkthrough of the church.

We had a very quick hot walk and thought we would walk back to the ship. But our cruise line was getting bad dockings away from the city center so we had to bus back. The walk would have been an hour an a half so we wouldn't actaully get any more time in the city.
