After the Sparkling Star arrived at her home port, we started the process of selling her. We spent about 10 days moving off our belongings, seeing friends, and preparing for moving our boat items to Texas. Ted drove a U-Haul van, and Laura flew so she could arrange for a new REALID drivings license before we headed to Europe.

Laura flew on Southwest.

And she met up with her first Best Friend Forever - Danna. Friends since 3 months old.

Ted met with our lifelong boat friend from Dream Looper at their beautiful home in North Carolina and had a wonderful stay with amazing food and fellowship!

We made the suprise decision to buy a new to us 2022 VW Cross Sport Atlas for Laura to drive around DFW.

Laura spent a lovely night with her sister at the Hyatt. We struggled to find a picture of us we loved.

Jennifer took us out to celebrate Ted's birthday at a comedy club and we also celebrated her birthday.

Daeland's girlfriend Isis came up with the great idea to celebrate Ted's birthday with an electric go cart race.

Ted was the birthday boy and 4th place winner!

Ted had his friend from college with Daeland's friends from college join him for an action packed race.

For Ted's 60th, we went to Bentonville, Arkansas to Bikefest and he got to ride this special bike with our new North Richland Hills neighbor as the event was shutting down because of potential lightning.

We had our last meal with Danna and her boyfriend Kyle before heading to Chicago.
